NSWLR is available online from both LexisNexis AU and Thomson Reuters. NB: The Council of Law Reporting proposes no preference for the online services of either LexisNexis AU or Thomson Reuters. Both receive the same material from the Council at the same time.
NSWLR online is an efficient legal research tool because the reports are fully searchable and they include links to online copies of cases and statutes cited. In addition, both Thomson Reuters and LexisNexis AU provide links between NSWLR reports and the other resources they publish for their online subscribers. For example, clicking on a citation in an NSWLR report will take you to the cited judgment from another volume.
The PDF versions of NSWLR online are replicas of the pages printed in NSWLR volumes so the lines, paragraphs and pages are consistent for all users. They are therefore welcome as references in court.
